"MUSICAL THEATER LOVING FRIENDS, IF YOU'RE NOT AT MUSICAL MONDAYS ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF THE MONTH, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!" -- CHERRY AND SPOON

MUSICAL MONDAYS is a monthly cabaret series featuring musical theater performers in the Twin Cities, presented on the first Monday of every month.
Founded in November 2012 by Sheena Janson Kelley and Max Wojtanowicz, Musical Mondays aims to provide performance opportunities for local artists as well as a fun and casual "industry night" networking experience for the Twin Cities theater community. Each Musical Monday is comprised of a roughly 90-minute set of musical theater and cabaret songs based on a theme and compiled by the musicians and the curators. To date, over 350 people have performed on the Musical Mondays stage!
The series was hosted at Hell's Kitchen until 2017, when it moved to LUSH in northeast Minneapolis. After seven and a half years and 79 shows, Musical Mondays was put on hold during the COVID-19 pandemic and successfully re-launched in December 2022!

Musical Mondays also regularly put a spotlight on local companies who produce musicals by offering sneak peeks of upcoming performances and the chance to win tickets to shows all over town. We have been overwhelmed by the support from nearly fifty professional and community theaters and arts organizations who have donated tickets, including Artistry, Bucket Brigade, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Children's Theatre Company, Collide Theatrical, Daleko Arts, Frank Theatre, Guthrie Theater, Hennepin Theatre Trust, History Theatre, Illusion Theater, Jungle Theater, Lakeshore Players, Theater Latté Da, Lyric Arts, Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Minnesota Fringe, Mixed Blood, Mu Performing Arts, Old Log Theatre, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Park Square Theatre, Skylark Opera, Theatre Elision, and Yellow Tree Theatre.
